From November 21st to 23rd, 2024, USP College’s junior and senior ambassadors joined schools from the UK, Netherlands, Ireland, and Belgium for an exciting trip to Brussels, Ypres, and Flanders Fields. Carmel College at Euroscola
On January 27th, 20 Carmel students headed to Strasbourg for the Euroscola event at the European Parliament. We got to play the role of MEPs, diving into the legislative process. The trip also included a debate on zero pollution, a visit to Strasbourg Cathedral, and a quick Paris adventure!

Clyst Vale visit to Strasbourg European Parliament (Sakharov Prize)
Our trip to the European Parliament in Strasbourg was a blast! Sitting in the hemicycle and meeting international students was a highlight. Hearing the Venezuelan Sakharov Prize winners’ stories was touching. We’re grateful to the organizers and hope for more chances like this, even post-Brexit. Can’t wait for future collaborations!

We were super excited to have Asher from Europe House visit our school for a workshop on European institutions and democracy. Students got to simulate voting in the European Parliament, experiencing the legislative process firsthand. Wellington School at the European Parliament
On October 11th, 13 Wellington School students joined the Euroscola event at the European Parliament in Strasbourg with peers from 29 countries. They interviewed EU leaders, learned about MEPs, and debated democracy and rights. Before heading home, they enjoyed some sightseeing in Strasbourg’s historic center.

European Elections InfoPoint
Junior Ambassadors from Lytham St Anne’s High School have set up slides in the dining room, sharing info on voting in the EU and celebrating Europe Day. This helps European students learn how to vote when they’re of age. The slides are up from May 9th to June 6th, covering the European Parliament elections.
