collaborative Website & Podcast “Pildoras europeas”

Students from Europa School UK and Instituto Español Vicente Cañada Blanch have jointly created a website where we publish our collaborative projects related to the European Union. Our goal is to collaborate in works related to the European Union, its values, its patrimonial, historical and social richness. The name of the project “European Pills” comes from the idea of encouraging students to do small researches, with brief and concise results that bring Europe closer to the rest of the educational community in our schools and in schools all over Europe.

We have recently started the project and pupils from Vicente Cañada Blanch have created the website and pupils from Europa School UK have created a podcast related to the EU which will include episodes from pupils from both schools. Our intention is that each year there will be more episodes and that students from both schools can enjoy and learn from this collaborative work. So far Europa School pupils have deepened their knowledge of the European Union, from the myths of Europe, to researching its member states, when they became part of Europe and their particular characteristics with interesting historical facts, there are also pupils who have focused their research on the common currency, the Euro, or have even interviewed some European citizens living in the UK.
