With a growing number of schools and colleges in Scotland interested in becoming Ambassador Schools, we are running training (CPD) for Senior Ambassadors in Glasgow on the 17th of December.
This will be run with support from one of our existing Scottish Ambassador Schools, Cleveden Secondary School and Glasgow City Council’s Education Improvement Service
Course content
- What your school will get out of being a European Parliament Ambassador School: skills, accreditation, support, training, networking and access to other opportunities.
- What other opportunities are offered by the European Parliament’s Liaison Office in the United Kingdom (EPLO UK).
- How your school can gain Ambassador Schools accreditation: practical steps, ideas for activities, and a roadmap.
- How Scottish schools have already gained accreditation: including visiting Cleveden’s European Christmas Fayre
- Networking with other Scottish Ambassador Schools
- An update on the current status of relations between the UK and the EU – in the light of a new government in the UK and a new Parliament in the EU.
