Student-led Europe Day Activities at SHS
This year’s Europe Day activities were 100% student organised with no senior ambassador involvement. The students decorated the school hall with European Union flags and flags of member states, they played a Eurovision sound track and gave students the opportunity to try European foods and have their faces painted with European flags. Europe Day in the Curriculum at Oaklea Grange

International Women’s Day
For International Women’s Day we organised a celebration of equality in school. We did a EU info notice board on it. We had 13 speakers in school who spoke in classes and there was an informal lunch where we aksed questions. We also organised a cake sale for and raised money for our food bank.

Taking part in Youth Summit at UK Parliament
The European Parliament Ambassador School Youth Summit brought together young leaders engaged in EU-UK cooperation to exchange ideas and discuss key priorities alongside diplomats and Members of Parliament, including Marsha de Cordova. The event also provided students from diverse backgrounds with a valuable opportunity to learn from one another and gain insight into international cooperation.
