Student-led Europe Day Activities at SHS
This year’s Europe Day activities were 100% student organised with no senior ambassador involvement. The students decorated the school hall with European Union flags and flags of member states, they played a Eurovision sound track and gave students the opportunity to try European foods and have their faces painted with European flags. Dulwich College European Week
At Dulwich College, as part of Europe Day, we organised a special European Week from 5th to 8th of May, during which we hosted a variety of initiatives focused on diplomacy, politics, international cooperation, and European affairs. The week brought together students interested in global issues and created an opportunity for meaningful discussion and engagement.

Europe Day in the Curriculum at Oaklea Grange
As a school, we celebrated Europe Day by holding an assembly about it as a group and had open discussions about what it is, why we celebrate it and how the school is going to celebrate it. Activities in Europe House
We had an amazing experience at Europe House, where we visited different stalls representing various European countries. At each stall, we collected country stamps and learned about their cultures, traditions, famous foods, landmarks, and unique customs. Politics Society Meeting and Debate on EU–UK Cooperation after Brexit
The Politics Society hosted a presentation and debate focused on the future of cooperation between the European Union and the United Kingdom in post-Brexit Europe. Students explored political, economic, and strategic dimensions of EU–UK relations and exchanged different perspectives on the opportunities and challenges that Brexit has created for Europe. International Women’s Day
For International Women’s Day we organised a celebration of equality in school. We did a EU info notice board on it. We had 13 speakers in school who spoke in classes and there was an informal lunch where we aksed questions. We also organised a cake sale for and raised money for our food bank.

Taking part in Youth Summit at UK Parliament
The European Parliament Ambassador School Youth Summit brought together young leaders engaged in EU-UK cooperation to exchange ideas and discuss key priorities alongside diplomats and Members of Parliament, including Marsha de Cordova. The event also provided students from diverse backgrounds with a valuable opportunity to learn from one another and gain insight into international cooperation.

Cultural Day Festivities
