UK General Election Hustings
Junior Ambassadors from Queen Elizabeth’s School, Crediton, ran a general election hustings event for the forthcoming UK general election. It was primarily a UK-focussed event, though students also noted the trends from the recent European and French elections, which served to demonstrate the importance of voting.

European Biscuit Decorating
Over the course of Spring 2, one team of Junior Ambassadors planned and delivered a biscuits decorating event, demonstrating teamwork, communication and leadership. They shopped for and made their own different coloured icing, researched European flags and then offered their peers the opportunity to decorate them with different European flags.

Visit from our Conservative M.P.

European Youth Parliament

Screening of 20,000 Species of Bees for the LUX Audience Award
The Junior Ambassadors at Oaklea Grange chose and watched “20,000 Species of Bees,” discussing its mental health themes, character analysis, and the impact of Spanish subtitles on the narrative.

International Mother Languages Day Celebration

Weekly Voting Board
Mercy’s EPAS Junior Ambassadors have instituted weekly elections, evolving from light-hearted debates to current European issues, like the repatriation of Greek artefacts. These student-led initiatives, including election planning and results presentation, aim to educate peers on the election process through practice and display boards.

Lux Film Event & Christmas film screening
We had 2 film screenings. One in December for Y7, a French version of Ratouille, then the Lux Film Screening of 20,000 Species of Bees. The latter was attended by 10 Junior Ambassadors and the December one was attended by 15 Y7 pupils.
