Last few spots available: European Day of Languages

The Delegation of the European Union to the United Kingdom and the European Parliament Liaison Office in the UK are delighted to invite your school to a special event celebrating the European Day of Languages.

Although the official day falls on 26 September, we will be marking the occasion on Thursday, 25 September, and would love for you and your pupils to join us.

What’s on?

Expect a lively and engaging day celebrating the rich diversity of European languages and cultures. Highlights include:

  • Stalls hosted by EU Member States’ embassies, cultural institutes and community schools, offering resources, language tasters, and cultural insights – plus a scavenger hunt to encourage students to explore them all.
  • Please note that these are photographed events and photo consents need to be signed by parents

Who can come?

We welcome groups of students aged 14 and up. It would be lovely to see your Junior Ambassadors. Alternatively, feel free to share this invitation with your Head of Modern Foreign Languages or another relevant colleague.
