They’ve brilliantly integrated the Ambassador Schools program into their ‘Preparation for Adulthood’ curriculum. The Senior Ambassadors appointed three Junior Ambassadors, who volunteered for it, to organise and set up the Info Point on the 5th of December 2024. We have our main info point near the library, but we wanted to add another one so more people would notice it. We added a display in the canteen with an array of European foods. We all researched a country each and selected a dish and some information. It is where the students queue up

Information point development
Over three days, Clevedon Secondary School’s Junior Ambassadors created an info board and leaflet detailing their goals in the EU Ambassador Schools program. European Elections InfoPoint
Junior Ambassadors from Lytham St Anne’s High School have set up slides in the dining room, sharing info on voting in the EU and celebrating Europe Day. This helps European students learn how to vote when they’re of age. The slides are up from May 9th to June 6th, covering the European Parliament elections.

collaborative Website & Podcast “Pildoras europeas”
Students from Europa School UK and Instituto Español Vicente Cañada Blanch have teamed up to create a website for our EU-related projects. Our project, “European Pills,” aims to inspire students to conduct small, impactful research. We’ve launched a podcast, and each year, more episodes will be added. Dive in and explore!

Junior Ambassadors from Manchester Hospital School teamed up to create an infopoint for our Preparation for Adulthood curriculum. They brainstormed what to include, chose the perfect spot, and collaborated to develop the resources. Students from Notting Hill and Ealing High School’s EPAS club successfully secured a noticeboard after negotiating with the SLT and departments. International Mother Languages Day Celebration
Students at Mercy College, Belfast, had a blast on International Mother Languages Day! They kicked off with a fun “Guess the Language” quiz, enjoyed an international lunch, and got creative with crafts. The main corridor featured a display of language facts. Check out their activities on Facebook!

About 15 Cherwell students have crafted European-themed articles for the Cherwell Journal, our student-driven non-fiction hub. Without a physical school spot, this is our info point. Topics range from European politics and the EU to sustainability, post-Brexit economics, religious freedom, and sports as societal progress tools. Check it out!
