Euroscola 2026: apply now

The Euroscola programme in Strasbourg offers students (14 years and older) from across the EU, applicant countries, and former Member States a chance to experience European parliamentary democracy. Students role-play as Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), debating, negotiating, voting, and adopting resolutions on key European issues. Euroscola includes both in-person attendance at the European Parliament’s Chamber in Strasbourg and online participation via interactive platforms.

What is Euroscola?

Watch this video overview and visit the Euroscola page for full details. The morning session includes hybrid participation, with students learning about the European Parliament and engaging with topics via Interactio (online) or Slido (for all attendees). The afternoon is reserved for in-house participants to debate and vote on resolutions in plenary and committee sessions. Teachers can network and exchange classroom experiences.

UK Participation

Each year, selected secondary schools from the UK Ambassador Schools network, based on their engagement with the EPAS programme, including newly joined schools with fresh ideas, are offered a subsidized trip to Strasbourg for Euroscola. Classes, consisting of up to 24 students and 2 teachers, are eligible to participate. The European Parliament provides a subsidy for the trip, though it does not cover all expenses.
Schools are responsible for organizing their own travel arrangements, including accommodation.
