School Trip to Euroscola in Strasbourg with Belfast Boys Model School
Mercy College Belfast and Belfast Boys Model School had an amazing time at the Euroscola event in Strasbourg. They learned how the European Parliament works, joined a lively debate on climate change, and even sat in the Hemicycle! What a fantastic cross-community experience for these students. NHEHS in Strasbourg for Euroscola
During October half-term, NHEHS students visited Strasbourg for the Euroscola programme at the European Parliament. As the UK’s sole representative, we shared our views on political issues with European peers. The day was filled with debates, Q&As, and workshops, making it an enriching and unforgettable experience.

Euroscola event: Rights of Women
We joined a live event on women’s rights in Europe, chatting with MEPs and other EU schools. We asked about the gender pay gap and what the EP is doing about it. We learned about legislation, the 14% pay gap, and the push for equal pay in similar jobs.

Cherwell at Euroscola 2023
Twenty students and two teachers joined the Euroscola conference on November 24, 2023, diving into cyber security and EU democracy. They tackled projects, connected with peers from 26 countries, and explored five languages. Traveling sustainably, they enjoyed cultural activities and honed skills like communication and leadership.
