European Language Day
On Tuesday 5 May, the European Ambassadors set off for Smith Square in Westminster. On arrival, we were given a passport containing questions about the various European countries. European themed football tournament
For our Annual Football Tournament, we organized a school wide competition alongside the football matches. #10yearsEPAS What Europe Means to Me UK Entries
This year is the 10th anniversary of the European Parliament Ambassador Schools programme. To celebrate this the European Parliament asked Junior Ambassadors from across the EU and the UK to share ‘what Europe means to me in an image’. We had many, many fantastic entries in the UK and deciding between them was incredibly difficult.

European info point
As a school we put our info point on the way to our cafeteria so it is visible to all students who go to lunch. It has been there all year round and besides our info stand we also put up some EU flags to make it extra visible. On our info point we have

Presentation of accreditation

Europe Day celebrations
We announced the Europe Day celebrations beforehand in our school weekly announcements. On the 8th of May, we celebrated Europe Day by decorating the school entry and playing European music (e.g. from the Eurovision Song Contest or the European Anthem). Writing Competition
We started by developing a strategy for advertising and organising the writing competition, categorising and judging entries. We elaborated four categories, prose, poetry, argumentative and analytic writing and rating criteria for each category, such as persuasion, originality or analytic quality. InfoPoint
The Senior Ambassadors appointed three Junior Ambassadors, who volunteered for it, to organise and set up the Info Point on the 5th of December 2024. European Languages Day
A class from the DSL that included members and non-members of the European Ambassadors visited the European Language Day event. Already being a multilingual group, we could engage in discussions about European intercultural development and interesting linguistic reflections. The participation in a multilingual poetry workshop greatly contributed to our understanding of modern European language relations.
