On Thursday 29th of January, our EPAS (European Parliament Ambassador Schools) Club has been involved in exciting opportunities, including taking part in an online Euroscola session organised by the European Parliament. Last week, our junior ambassadors and some of our S4–S6 students (year 10, 11 and 12) connected live to this session from the European Parliament in Strasbourg. Even though the participation was remote, our students’ engagement was thoughtful and highly active.

More than 500 students from across Europe took part in the event, sharing ideas and voting for the best questions. We are particularly proud that Bea’s question won the concluding Slido vote, and Jan’s question received the highest number of votes in the first round — a great achievement for our students.
The session focused on “The EU’s Zero Pollution Ambition: Where Do We Stand Today?” and gave students the chance to listen to and ask questions of senior representatives of the European Parliament, including Camille Siefridt, Policy Analyst for Environment, and Esteban González Pons, Vice-President of the European Parliament.
It was a valuable experience that allowed our students to engage with European institutions, develop their understanding of European politics, and participate in an international democratic forum — a real achievement to be proud of.
