Debating activities
In the past two weeks, our new Junior Ambassadors at Carmel College have dived into the European Parliament Ambassador Schools (EPAS) program. We kicked off with two exciting debates. First, we tackled the environment and building on ‘green belt’ land. Then, we debated a four-day school week. Everyone did amazing!

Peace through Languages
This year at Prestwick Academy, we rocked European Day of Languages! Our International Club, Captains, and Junior Ambassadors made it unforgettable. We shared inspiring language quotes, did face painting, and had language lessons. The corridors were all about peace. We even had a Kahoot quiz and tasty croissants for staff!

During European Day of Languages week, Manchester Hospital School got everyone from EYFS to post-16 excited about languages! European Day of Languages Celebration
To mark the European Day of Languages, our students designed a poster for the “Languages for Peace” international competition organised by the European Centre for Modern Languages. European Languages Day
A class from the DSL that included members and non-members of the European Ambassadors visited the European Language Day event. Already being a multilingual group, we could engage in discussions about European intercultural development and interesting linguistic reflections. The participation in a multilingual poetry workshop greatly contributed to our understanding of modern European language relations.

European Food InfoPoint
We have our main info point near the library, but we wanted to add another one so more people would notice it. We added a display in the canteen with an array of European foods. We all researched a country each and selected a dish and some information. It is where the students queue up

Clyst Vale Euros 2024
The event mirrored the Euros 2024 Championships, bringing together teams from all three school houses and lower years (7-10) for a fun, inclusive football competition. Organized by Mr. Adam Pearce, Head of Year 10, it was a hit! Check out the full write-up and results for more excitement!

Senior Ambassador CPD 2024
Last week, we had an amazing training session for Senior Ambassadors at Europe House. We welcomed both new and returning Ambassadors from places like Alcester, Abingdon, Ayr, Belfast, Plymouth, Blackpool, Great Yarmouth, Manchester, Maldon, Seaford Head, and all over London. It was a fantastic gathering of passionate individuals!

First Scottish Ambassador School
Wellington School is the first in Scotland to become a European Parliament Ambassador School! We were thrilled to get our certificates and plaque just in time for the school year’s end. At the final assembly, the Headmaster proudly awarded certificates to our Junior Ambassadors. Stay tuned for a formal event next year!
