Priestley European Day of Languages day 2025

We recently hosted a Lunchtime Quiz in the student café to celebrate the richness of European languages, culture, and music. The event was designed to promote a sense of European unity through interactive learning and fun, and the turnout was fantastic!

The quizzes were entirely student-led, with lots of creativity. One was even crafted in the shape of a paper hen! Participants had the opportunity to win a variety of themed prizes, including authentic European sweets, language stickers, and pens.

To ensure a great turnout, we promoted the event on our Instagram page, inviting students to join us during their break. The energy was high throughout the session, and we captured plenty of great moments. These photos have since been shared on the European Parliament Ambassador Instagram and uploaded to our Google Classroom for everyone to enjoy.

Overall, the event was a wonderful success. Not only did the students have a great time, but we also successfully recruited several new Junior Ambassadors to our team. Thank you to everyone who participated and made the day so memorable!

This is brilliant stuff! So much going on, and using it to recruit new Junior Ambassadors too. Very, very well done! We’ve also love that you are using your Instagram channel as an additional Info Point.
