As part of our commitment as a European Parliament Ambassador School (EPAS), NCA is passionate about developing active, informed citizens who understand the importance of democracy, political participation, and the historical events that have shaped modern Europe.
This year, our History Club has been undertaking independent research projects exploring historical significance, political change, and social transformation. Working alongside specialist teachers, students have developed university-style research papers before presenting their findings in academic seminars, responding to questions and engaging in thoughtful discussion.
Through these projects, students have strengthened their critical thinking, research, public speaking, and debating skills while deepening their understanding of how historical events continue to influence democracy, equality, and society today. Initiatives like these help prepare our students to become informed, responsible citizens who are ready to contribute positively to democratic society.
