This coming October, European Parliament Ambassador Schools from the UK are invited to participate in two exciting transnational events with schools from the EU. These events are organised by the European Parliament Liaison Offices (EPLOs) in the UK and member states.
At this stage, we are looking to map interest, and details are still being fine-tuned. More information on both events will follow. Please express your interest through the form below.
Derry/Londonderry, Northern Ireland

- Dates: 2–4 October 2025
- Focus: Peacebuilding and reconciliation, following the legacy of John Hume
- Co-organizers: EPLO UK, EPLO Ireland, and the Hume Foundation
- Participants: Ambassador Schools from Ireland and the UK
Warsaw, Poland

- Dates: 15–17 October 2025
- Topic: To be confirmed – planned focus on aspects of European collaboration
- Hosted by: EPLO Warsaw
- Co-organizers: EPLOs in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and the UK
- Participants: Ambassador Schools from Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and the UK
- Important: All participants must hold valid passports

Conditions for both events
- Recommended student age: 15+
- Group size: 4–6 students, accompanied by a maximum of 2 teachers
- Costs covered: Travel, accommodation, and food will be covered by the European Parliament
- Both will be photographed events
Travel Arrangements
- Travel will be arranged and booked by the European Parliament Liaison Office in the UK (EPLO UK).
Travel Insurance
- Schools/colleges or parents are responsible for arranging appropriate travel insurance for all participants.
Accommodation
- Students will share rooms with students from other schools and countries.
- Students will be in rooms with students of the same gender.
- Due to the setup of the youth hostel, it will not be possible to guarantee that students from the same school or country room together.
- Please ensure this arrangement aligns with your school/college’s policy before expressing interest.
- Teachers may need to share rooms with other teachers.
