Carmel Students Shine At The Ethics Cup

Our junior ambassadors had a fantastic day at the annual Ethics Cup,
hosted by the University of Liverpool.

Competing against schools across the region, they debated challenging ethical issues with confidence, insight, and teamwork. Carmel students impressed all the way to the semi-finals, gaining experience in university level debate and showcasing their critical thinking skills.

EPAS Team Comment

Well done to Carmel College students. This looks like an excellent activity for European Parliament Ambassador Schools to get involved with: seeing discussion and debate not as a sport or about proving others wrong, but as a way to address complex ethical issues and try to find agreement.
