We were thrilled to have Asher visit our school, sharing key insights about the EU, the European Parliament, and the UK. Our ambassadors exchanged fantastic ideas and even enjoyed a lively debate to wrap up the session. It was truly an unforgettable evening!

Our Junior Ambassadors, guided by our Senior Ambassadors, are crafting and sharing a page in our monthly newsletter. The ‘European Corner’ section highlights various EU countries. The students collaborate, research, and proudly showcase their work each month. This project has been an amazing learning experience for them, and it continues to inspire!

Carmel College’s Success in the Second Round of the ESU Schools’ Mace Competition
Carmel College rocked the ESU Schools’ Mace competition’s second round! Alex, Michel, and Fin wowed everyone with their top-notch debating skills, arguing against the copyrightability of musical works. Out of six teams, only two advanced, and Carmel’s stellar performance secured their spot in the regional final. Keep shining, team!

Clyst Vale visit to Strasbourg European Parliament (Sakharov Prize)
Our trip to the European Parliament in Strasbourg was a blast! Sitting in the hemicycle and meeting international students was a highlight. Hearing the Venezuelan Sakharov Prize winners’ stories was touching. We’re grateful to the organizers and hope for more chances like this, even post-Brexit. Can’t wait for future collaborations!

European Christmas Market and Cultural Celebration
This year our Junior Ambassadors organised a festive Christmas market to celebrate European cultures and traditions within the school community. The event was open to all secondary students and aimed to promote intercultural understanding and seasonal joy.
