EPAS Together Transnational Event Warsaw

Six senior Govan High pupils and two members of staff took part in the EPAS Together Transnational event in Warsaw in October.

This was such a fantastic experience for everyone involved which enabled pupils to engage in cultural exchanges, democratic learning and take part in workshops exploring issues important to them. In particular, pupils enjoyed workshops making videos to demonstrate their feelings about current issues facing young people.

We also had time to visit the city of Warsaw, including going to the top of the Palace of Culture (which had an amazing panoramic view) and trying a local restaurant with delicious Polish food!

Pupils have expressed how much they appreciated being given this opportunity as it taught them so much, provided them with the opportunity to make friends from across Europe and exchange ideas, to bring each other closer as a group and make fantastic memories together. We are all so grateful for this experience and have made memories to last a lifetime!

EPAS Team Comment

Great that you were able to participate in this, and that it has had such a positive effect on your students. We are particularly pleased that they were able to meet other Junior Ambassadors from the UK and EU countries.
