EPAS students developed debates on a number of European Issues, they gave students a range of arguments and evidence to help them argue for and against.
All KS3 Tutor groups had a session with EPAS students to do the debates. Each tutor group voted, each KS3 student had the chance to contribute to the debate and vote at the end.

EPAS students are confident that this helped to educate KS3 students on the work of the EP as well as a more general understanding of the role of debate in informing democracy.
EPAS Team Comment
Wow! What a fantastic project. This is great stuff from Stroud High School Junior Ambassadors. They are showing their team work and leadership skills while engaging others’ democratic skills of discussion, debate and weighing up arguments. A lovely mixture of topics too: really getting their peers to think and get involved.
