The Northern Counties School held held a school wide activity. Each class was asked to discuss the role of student council and hold an election for their class representative for the academic year 2026-2027. Sixth form ran a campaign and each candidate had their manifesto posters in order to stand for a whole school election.
Head boy/Head girl roles in school are seen as important due to the level of leadership and responsibility that these hold.
