Year 10 Interactive Workshop

Priestley College organised an event for Y10 pupils from two other local schools, “Become a European Youth decision maker for a day”.

They invited Asher Jacobsberg to deliver an interactive educational session about the EU and the European Parliament on behalf of the European Parliament Liaison Office in the UK.

After a shared European lunch, Junior Ambassadors from Priestley ran sessions on the International day of the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

The day was rounded of by Priestley’s Senior Ambassador running a session for students on the value of studying European languages at A-Level.

EPAS Team Comment

This is exactly the kind of activity we love to see! You are sharing European culture and values. You are teaching about democracy and spreading the message beyond just your Junior Ambassadors. Those Junior Ambassadors are also showing their leadership and teamwork skills. It really does tick all the boxes!
