Europe Day Newsletter

Thank you for the invite to Europe Day! It was a fantastic thing to be a part of.

Our students rarely get to venture outside of Hull, for some it was their first experience on a train. This day was – effectively – shortcut cultural experience beyond that we could have hoped for. It was handled expertly, with sensitivity, and engagement as a priority.

Students left feeling hopeful, engaged, and ready to change the world. The expert speakers communicated messages of significant import: collaboration, compromise, possessing an outward facing, global perspective, with a view to thinking beyond their local community, and exploring how their efforts could be directed to achieve a supranational impact.

Wow! What a great newsletter. Fantastic to have this reflection by students on what they got out of the day. We are very glad that you were able to join us and got so much out of it.
