On December 5th, Instituto Español Vicente Cañada Blanch (IEVCB) proudly hosted the European Parliament Ambassador Schools certification ceremony.

They welcomed other awarded Ambassador Schools and the guest of honour MEP Thijs Reuten, who was talking to the students about some relevant aspects of the democratic European institutions. A great opportunity to put coexistence and democratic values into practice.

Two Junior Ambassadors from IEVCB acted as masters of ceremony, introducing guests, welcoming visitors and keeping the audience entertained.

Guests were treated to a special piano rendition of Ode to Joy, the anthem of the European Union, as well as speeches from each of the awarded schools and special guests.
