Oaklea Grange Online Euroscola Event
Pupils took part in a full day of Euroscola events, including talking to the Vice-President of the European Parliament. We then took part in an Innovation Lab: “WE HAVE ONLY ONE EARTH: THE EU’S STRATEGY AGAINST CLIMATE CHANGE” discussing policies on climate change and how the European Parliament are going to address this. East Norfolk 6th Form Infopoint
These photos show our permanent EU info point display, the PowerPoint version was too big to upload. Students created all resources for the display and launched it on Europe Day. The PP ran on the TV screens throughout college, and some ambassador students presented to their law and politics classes on the day also. Junior

Europe Day assemblies/Duolingo challenge
We organised a series of assemblies across the whole school to celebrate Europe day. These included a general knowledge quiz and also the launch of a Duolingo challenge that will run until 6th June. Students organised an information stand to promote Europe Day. They spoke to students from across the school and handed out badges to celebrate European integration and cooperation. 6th form students took part in a European flag quiz at lunchtime which saw some fierce competition.

Gathering donations for ‘Refuweegee’ a Refugee charity in Glasgow.
Pupils and staff donated items of clothing, food and sanitary supplies to ‘Refuweegee’ which is a Glasgow charity set up to support refugees. We announced the Europe Day celebrations beforehand in our school weekly announcements. Local election get out the vote drive
Y12 politics students designed leaflets to promote the local elections on 1st May.
