Video: Three Priorities of the European Parliament

Four Junior Ambassadors (students) from The College @ Sirius drafted, filmed, and edited a short video on what they perceived as three key priorities for the European Parliament (EP), as explored in the research they had done. They wanted to raise awareness of the work of the EP, in addition to focussing their viewers on how said work has influenced the development and improvement of life in the member states.

The focus on democracy, peace, and the environment was reflective of their interests, but also universal themes which are of importance to humanity generally. They sought to see the mission of the EU reflected in a universal human rights perspective, showing how the priorities of the European Parliament are common to us all.

The video will be on the college’s central information screens, disseminating via YouTube and over email, and sending out to various partners/Trustees.

Wow! Great work. Really impressed to hear from these students about what they see as the priorities for the European Parliament. Creating a video like this is an excellent way to make your Info Point.
