Last Friday some of our Junior Ambassadors attended a workshop let by Florent in Glasgow. The aim of the workshop was to deepen the group’s understanding of the European Union and its institutions before travelling to Strasbourg for the November session of Euroscola. The group enjoyed the interactive nature of the workshop and left with improved knowledge about how the EU parliamentary system operates. They are now looking forward to having the opportunity to debate in the Hemicycle later this month. As the Wellington pupils will be joined by pupils from Hutchesons’ Grammar School in on this visit, the event allowed the two groups to meet and to get to know each other in advance of the trip. It was great to meet all the junior ambassadors from both Wellington School and Hutchesons’ Grammar School. I am sure the students will have a great time on the Euroscola trip this month!
