Launch session and debate: “What should the priorities be for the EU and UK’s future relationship?”
Clyst Vale Community College was thrilled to host Asher Jacobsberg from the European Parliament Liaison Office on December 13th. He launched the European Parliament Ambassador Schools project and led a lively debate on EU-UK priorities. Students from Years 11-13 engaged enthusiastically, learning about the European Parliament’s workings. Exciting times ahead!

MEP awards Ambassador Schools
Right before Christmas, Instituto Español Vicente Cañada Blanch hosted an awesome day of learning and celebration with Junior Ambassadors from The Cherwell School and Emerson Park Academy. Thijs Reuten, an MEP, joined as a special guest, inspiring students to stay engaged and make a difference in the world.

Visit to Strasbourg, European Parliament, Euroscola
On December 12th, three of Carmel’s lower sixth students visited the European Parliament in Strasbourg through the EPAS enrichment program. Grace, Crina, and Dhenisha joined EuroScola, meeting politicians and activists. They focused on human rights and were praised for their contributions. They truly shone as Junior Ambassadors!

Virtual Euroscola 2023
Thirty Year 12 students from The Cherwell School joined the Euroscola conference on human rights and law. Two students asked live questions, and one student’s proposal made the top four. Amber noted the contrast in concerns between Eastern and Western students, highlighting the importance of a global perspective on issues.

Cherwell at Euroscola 2023
Twenty students and two teachers joined the Euroscola conference on November 24, 2023, diving into cyber security and EU democracy. They tackled projects, connected with peers from 26 countries, and explored five languages. Traveling sustainably, they enjoyed cultural activities and honed skills like communication and leadership. Former MEP awards Ambassadors in Devon
Caroline Voaden, ex-MEP for South West England and Gibraltar, visited Queen Elizabeth School in Crediton, Devon.
