European Youth Parliament UK Regional Debate

On 23 March 2026, seven EPAS junior ambassadors form year 11 and 12 attended the European Youth Parliament UK Regional Session at Leighton Park School, Reading. During the event, students took part in team-building activities, committee work and a General Assembly, where they discussed current European and global issues and presented their resolutions. Our students were members of the Artificial Intelligence in the Digital Age (AIDA) committee.

The session gave students the opportunity to work collaboratively with young people from other schools, exchange ideas and develop solutions to contemporary challenges linked to artificial intelligence and its impact on society. Throughout the day, participants strengthened their public speaking, critical thinking and teamwork skills while gaining a better understanding of democratic debate and decision-making processes.

Following the event, students shared their experiences with members of the EPAS club and other students in the school, encouraging participation in future opportunities related to European citizenship and youth engagement.
