European Parliament educational session at NHEHS

We were thrilled to welcome Asher from Europe House to our school for an enlightening workshop on the European institutions and democracy in Europe. The session provided our students with an in-depth understanding of how these critical components operate within the European Union.

During the workshop, students had the opportunity to simulate the voting blocks in the European Parliament, offering them a hands-on experience of the legislative process. This interactive exercise not only demonstrated the complexities and dynamics of parliamentary voting but also highlighted the importance of informed decision-making and collaboration.

The session concluded with a lively and engaging discussion about the role of the European Parliament in voting on various issues. Students shared their perspectives and gained valuable insights into the significance of their participation in democratic processes.
